Privacy policy

We collect the bare minimum, only to reply to you.

Data controller

Micromagic SAS, 307 rue de la Mare aux Canes, 77370 Fontenailles, France. Contact: contact@micromagic.fr.

Data collected and purpose

When you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address and message and, if you provide them, your phone number and company name. This data is used solely to reply to your enquiry and, where relevant, to draw up a commercial proposal.

Legal basis

Processing is based on your consent, given by ticking the box provided (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), and on pre-contractual measures taken at your request (Article 6(1)(b)).

Recipients and retention

Your message is sent by email to the Micromagic team. It is not stored in any website database and is never transferred or sold to third parties. Correspondence is kept for no more than 3 years after the last contact, unless a contractual relationship exists, in which case the statutory retention periods apply.

To prevent abuse, the sender’s IP address is kept in encrypted form (hashed) on the server for no more than one hour, then deleted.

Cookies and analytics

This website sets no cookies, includes no trackers or analytics tools and uses no external fonts or scripts. The only exception: the map on the home page displays map tiles provided by the OpenStreetMap Foundation, which receives your IP address in order to send them (see its privacy policy). These tiles are only loaded when the map comes into view and set no cookies. No consent banner is therefore needed.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data, and to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise these rights, email us at contact@micromagic.fr or write to us at the address above.

If you believe your rights are not being respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (www.cnil.fr).
